Maxime Van Cauter serves as Science & Technology Counsellor for the office of Wallonia-Brussels International in the U.S. Maxime operates from New York and is the co-founder and co-chair of the Science & Technology Diplomatic Circle of New York. He holds a master's degree in International Relations and Global Politics from the Free University of Brussels.
Based on their experience and those of colleagues as part of science attaché networks, the authors aim to start a conversation about the roles and responsibilities of these networks during the crisis and the recovery period.
