Mayra Ameneiros is a Research Associate at King’s College London’s Centre for Science and Security Studies. She is appointed as one of the experts of the Technical Advisory Group on Health-Security Interface at the World Health Organization. Ameneiros is a member of the Board of Directors at the Next Generation Global Health Security Network and a Senior Advisor for several US organizations. Ameneiros holds a M.S in biochemistry, and she is a biorisk management and biosecurity certified professional as well as a former Fellow from Johns Hopkins and Harvard University. *First co-author.
