Andrew Hebbeler

Andrew Hebbeler, Ph.D. is a molecular microbiologist and was senior director for global biological policy and programs at the Nuclear Threat Initiative. Previously, he served in a range of leadership positions at the U.S. Department of State, with responsibilities at the nexus of science and technology, international affairs, and global security. During the Obama administration, he was assistant director for biological and chemical threats at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
