Maria Elena Bottazzi, Ph.D., is a professor, the Division Chief of Pediatric Tropical Medicine, and the Co-director of the Texas Children’s Hospital Center for Vaccine Development at Baylor College of Medicine. In 2019, she was selected by the U.S. National Academy of Medicine as one of ten Emerging Leaders in Health and Medicine Scholars.
